Through its diverse initiatives, TRANSPHÈRES strives to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030.

TRANSPHÈRES initiates projects and supports processes which enable the free circulation of knowledge between countries, cultures, generations, social levels and professions.

We unite people who exchange their professional expertise, experience and practical know-how in face-to-face encounters. Each project participant will gain individual experience and practical know-how. Back in their everyday job and life, these newly gained competencies are directly put into practice.

Together with our partners, it is our goal to build up a platform for global knowledge exchange, economic innovation, social cooperation and intercultural understanding.

Our Vision

At TRANSPHERÈS, we share the conviction that each person, based on his or her individual experiences, competences and practical know-how, possesses a key resource:

With our projects and initiatives, we contribute to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7 of the UN Agenda 2030, which reads: „By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development.“

UN General Assembly 2015, 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Goal 4.7

Knowledge, and especially the sharing thereof, is at the core of economic, social and ecological development of individuals and societies. We believe that knowledge shows its true potential only once it freely circulates between countries, cultures, generations, social layers and professions.

Our vision is a world in which the intersections between and within societies are utilised as platforms for intellectual and practical exchange. In this world, the global exchange of knowledge directly translates into practical know-how on a local level, supporting sustainable development.

Our Principles

Our method:

Direct and interactive transfer of knowledge

We implement cultural and economic projects in specific spheres. Based on direct interaction and cooperation, the exchange of practical know-how results in sustainable development for individuals and societies.

Our motivation:

Personal commitment and practical focus

Each of our projects is implemented by small focus groups. All participants are qualified both individually and in cooperation with others. The exchange within the focus group is oriented on each participant’s outstanding interest in sharing, gaining and jointly applying know-how.

Our framework:

The UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development

With all our projects, we aim to contribute to the international efforts captured under the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, and its 17 prioritised goals (Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs). It is our goal to specifically contribute to SDG No. 4 by enabling the potential of global knowledge exchange, and contribute to the public awareness of the Agenda 2030.
